Mother's Day Handprint Frame
Can order craft kits at Oriental Trading, or make your own version.

“Every day I am exploring, touching everything I've found. I leave behind my little marks and handprints all around. You clean up those handprints but someday when I’m grown you’ll wish you had just one handprint to keep for your own. I made this handprint for you so that one day when I am tall you’ll remember what my hand looked like long ago when I was small.”

Decorate your own T-shirt - this can be a sleep shirt, a field trip shirt, art shirt - or just a favourite shirt to wear.

Michael's often has kids t-shirts on sale (2 for $6) - or just use an old stained shirt.
Keep it simple with paints or try tie-dying.
TLC has some great shirt decorating ideas

Sandpaper Gingerbread Men

Pick up some bulk sandpaper & cut out the gingerbread man shapes.  Use coloured glue, glitter & candy to decorate.  Or use brown paper bags, sprinkle cinnamon & nutmeg to make them smell like Christmas!

More fun ideas - make whip cream Santa beards on the kids & take some memorable photos - lots of fun!
Put out bowls of oatmeal, different colour glitter & make Magic Reindeer Food to sprinkle on your lawn on Christmas Eve.  (We just use Ziploc baggies instead of the jar - and add the poem)
